The Hard Truth About Your Business

ok, gang, im about to get super honest with you. this has been on my heart to share for a little while now, so here we go.

That blame game? it ain’t cute. ⁣

hot take:⁣being busy blaming 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 means you’ll never have the time to focus on your own work. your own hobbies or passions. your own responsibilities. your own development. hell, even your own free time! ⁣

pulling others into your own deep rooted insecurities can be (and often is) as dangerous as a drowning person pushing their rescuer under water. ⁣

𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿—𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. lather, rinse, repeat. when you’re triggered by the opinions of others— that’s on you. explore it because that’s where self-development is 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 important. ⁣

don’t dull others with blame so you can appear shinier. ⁣

𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠-𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜. (Harvard Business Review)⁣

don’t fester in blame. rise on up. 💪🏼⁣You’ve got this.

and if you’re feeling super stuck? take action. do something about it. join me and change your own circumstances. business building can seem scary, I know. I can’t think of a time that I walked into a new job orientation without feeling overwhelmed, scared and unsure. but... this is one business decision I’ll never regret.⁣
