The Beauty Of Time Freedom
The other day, my schedule went a little something like this—
dog training at 9 am. they learned “sit, stay.” 🐾
went straight to a weights workout class after, and he forced me to do cardio— I almost cried. I wasn’t put on this earth for cardio.
walked into the house to the overwhelming smell of dog 💩, Dixie left a hu-uuuuuge gift in my office. 🤢
drove to the studio because a window was left open, and it thunderstormed last night. got lucky— no water damage 🙌🏼
raced home to smash a team training on storytelling even though our wifi quit on me three times… then planned my team calendar for July, scheduled all the zoom calls, paid the deposit on 4 different events, sent emails to all new Market Partners and set my July intentions…
and that was just the start of my day.but you know what?
I did it all on my time, on (mostly) my schedule, without having to change out of the clothes I sleptin last night. and 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲.
It’s not supposed to be easy or even fun some days, but it’s 𝘮𝘺 time. the one thing I can never get back, the one thing that I can take control over, the one thing that matters most. and I’m living the life of my dreams, dog shit and all.
I hope you are too. and if you aren’t? I hope you’re still making those intentional moves towards it today.
If you don’t know anything about my story, let me tell you, it wasn’t always this way.
Where I was 10 years ago isn’t so far removed from my mind that I still avoid looking at my bank account without one eye closed.in so many years, I went from a struggling, bankrupt nurse to building a photography business to an advocate for women in direct sales.
yup. direct sales. and I’m SO in love with this industry.
the most exciting thing about it is watching the landscape change, and my kids get a front row seat to the reality of 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲.direct sales is the future, I 100% believe that. direct-to-consumer and influencer marketing is changing the way people are spending, thinking about spending, and it’s absolutely changed the way women are 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.
𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. how do I know? because I’m anyone. no different, no more special, no extra talents or experience or understanding before I jumped in with both feet. I refused to be lukewarm, but I had no bag of tricks.
will everyone do this? no. but 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 can decide they’re done with the way things are and instead choose this one magical thing that can help provide not only financial freedom but time freedom as well.
