How To Monetize Social Media

Honestly, monetizing your social media is a topic that I could talk about foreverrrr.⁣

Here are my top five tips:

1. choose a brand that you use and love, and check out their partnership or ambassador programs. 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 for using and sharing it! and then write down the top five things you LOVE sharing on social media. the more passion there is behind it, the easier it is to show up consistently on reels and stories.⁣

2. 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 > 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. do not consume more content than you create. there’s no wrong way to start. just start! create, create, create. 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘺. 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩. ⁣

3. ask yourself every day “who is this serving?” the point of monetizing social media is to add value to others. 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, and don’t be so self-indulgent that you forget your purpose. that’s a very easy way to get caught up in a harmful mindset. engage with your followers, and ask them often what they like to see! ⁣

4. 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. over and over again. people want to know who you are, where you are, and where you hope to go. you don’t start when you’re “successful.” you start where your story starts, at the beginning. 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸. ⁣

5. 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. monetizing social media 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘳, yessir. a profession. a life changing opportunity. keep learning. listen to podcast. google everything. find good mentors and soak up their knowledge and put that knowledge into practice.

Also, please remember that content creation is supposed to be 𝗳𝘂𝗻. ⁣The sooner you can stop stressing over when to post, or why it’s this time or that time or earlier or later… nah. ⁣

Post 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 you want, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 you want, and focus more on 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 and 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 the community you want. ⁣I give you permission to take the pressure off and instead create for you, create for your community, and bring the joy. ❤️
